M's Testimony

This lovely lady asked me about using a menstrual cup right around the time I started using one, and she is now happily using her own! She has been using hers for about a year and is currently using the SAALT brand cup. Through her own journey, she has also started telling her other friends about it and is helping to spread the word about the benefits to the women in her life. She says that her experience has been so positive, and she highly recommends it, especially for women who struggled with access to disposable products. M says that she cannot feel it and has more peace of mind than she ever felt with a tampon, and not buying products regularly is a huge bonus. The timing constraints are much better than those of a tampon, which means there is no worry for her at night or at work. Sterilizing and storing her cup when she is not using it is very convenient.

Of course, as with all of us, there was a learning curve that took some getting used to. M says she struggled most with learning how to fold it but encourages women to stick with it and learn which fold works best for each individual. The benefits outweigh the cost of learning. The advice she offers to first time cup users is to do their own research and find a product that works best for their own body. Do not become discouraged and give up without trying a few different things if the first one does not work out. M is confident that this is a good investment for women everywhere to make!
